UPDATE II

Didn't anticipate how extensive planning a cross-country trip would be for a family of eleven. We still have to run to Stater and Trader Joe's; Jenn still has two more loads of laundry to wash and fold; everyone needs to pack and stow their belongings in the nooks and crannies; babies need a good night sleep { and the hapai mama too }. It's already 2020 PST so it'll be another late night for the us. Hey family: whoever takes first shift tomorrow better get some shut eyes tonight { yes, dadio, that's you! }.

Atelei bought the CD of the artist that dad would make us listen to over and over and over again during those summer months heading up the I-5 and into Oregon. Nope, it's not MJ. It's the other crooner, the artist whose voice sounds like melted chocolate. Who is it, you may ask? Yes, it's the one and only Nat King Cole. So for your listening pleasure, check out the song that encapsulates our summer road trips from those golden years of the 80's and 90's. Love yah, dad!
