I've been meaning to post, really. It's just that uploading photos onto my Flickr account takes for.ev.er. For just twenty photos it took me half the night because the rest of the campers are also on the web. Egad.
I will post soon, but for those of you who are wondering what we've been up to, here's the breakdown of what we did since Wednesday:
THURSDAY, 30 JULY 2009: visited Andrews University, the future home of the Moningka family; parked our RV at Hinsdale Adventist Academy because Shiloh Adventist Academy was a bit too much in the ghetto { long story; I'll tell you later }; took the train into Chicago and visited Willis Tower, formerly known as the Sears Tower while Christine took her final exam; headed back to Hinsdale and began our long trek to the Badlands.
FRIDAY, 31 JULY 2009: long day drive from Chicago to South Dakota. LONG DRIVE!
SABBATH, 01 AUGUST 2009: spent a lovely Sabbath at Koa Kampground; visited Badlands and Mt. Rushmore.
SUNDAY, 02 AUGUST 2009: drove from South Dakota into Wyoming and into Yellowstone National Park. But first we went swimming at Buffalo Bill's lake. We also saw bison and bears and deer while trekking through Yellowstone.
MONDAY, 03 AUGUST 2009: today we're driving through Yellowstone and stopping to swim, take photos and enjoy God's nature; then we're heading to Grand Tetons.
